When I saw these Jessica Simpson "Hardy" shoes on the shelf at Goodwill, the first thing that came to mind was "Do I really need these??". And the second thing that came to mind was "HECK YES!!!" lol. They were just to pretty to pass up, and a quick search on Google showed that they were originally prices at $98, but most recently were selling for around $66. Either way I paid $14.99 which is a lil more than I usually spend, but they are flawless, and so beautiful!

Just goes to show what kind of steal you can get at Goodwill - she spent $12.34 on a painting, and found out it is worth $9,000!! That is quite the investment, I must say!

I had seen something like this on an infomercial for "the low, low price of $19.99", so when I saw this new, unopened package for 99 cents at Goodwill, I thought I'd give 'em a try. My hair is very thick & I can never keep it in a style longer than 20 minutes no matter how many bobby pins I use. These things are great! I wore this messy bun all evening with not even a strand coming loose.LOVE them! :)

DIY day at Goodwill

$10.62 for a DIY bench makeover project

This little bench was calling my name, it has some great details and is really heavy wood. Could be antique...?

It was great, but the floral fabric was screaming "RUN! Run far away!".

So I found the perfect thick 54 x 84 inch window panel to reupholster it with! (This will match my home office perfectly & I'll use material at the bottom of the curtain so I can still hang what's left to break up the white curtains I have in there now.)

Update: This was literally the easiest project I've ever done - using the skills I've learned by watching hundreds of hours of HGTV, it only took about 15 mins, and that's only because I had to reload the staple gun.

I think it turned out great, and my kitten, Uncle Rico, seems to agree :)
